Johnny Marr Hans Zimmer Inception Soundtrack Nominated For Oscar

Johnny Marr’s collaboration with composer Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack to the film Inception directed by Christopher Nolan, has been nominated for an Oscar in the Music, Original Score category. Nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards were announced by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak. Other films nominated for their score are,  “How to Train Your Dragon” John Powell  “The King's Speech” Alexandre Desplat   “127 Hours” A.R. Rahman “The Social Network” Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Inception has been nominated for eight Oscars.

Johnny Marr Hans Zimmer Inception Soundtrack Nominated For BAFTA

Johnny Marr’s collaboration with composer Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack to the film Inception by Christopher Nolan, has been nominated for BAFTA. The Inception soundtrack  has been nominated in the Original Score category. Competing film scores include AR Rahman (127 Hours), Danny Elfman (Alice In Wonderland), John Powell (How To Train Your Dragon) and Alenandre Desplat (The King’s Speech).
